Wouldn't a cool drink be a life-saver? One of the biggest problems that missionaries have is becoming dehydrated due to the heat. But warm fluids are not very desirable. Help make the missionaries trip easier and safer. Help us with a donation for this project.

a child is
the first step in saving a soul!
IN ROATAN, HONDURAS
Right now a child is sick and the medicines to make the child well are not available.
Right now a child is crying because of hunger or malnourishment.
Today a child will quit school (4th grade or
earlier) because the child's parents don't
have the money for school supplies, or even clothes for their child to wear.
Today a child will quit school (4th grade or earlier) to help the family earn money to survive.
MAT 25:40 And the King shall answer and
say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have
done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethern, ye have done [it] unto me.
MAT 25:45 Then shall he answer
them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye die [it] not to
one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.

PROJECTS WE DONATE TO! |

Peggy Stranges, known as Miss Peggy by her friends and patients runs Clinica Esperanza (Clinic of Hope). Miss Peggy's Clinic is located in Sandy Bay in Roatan Honduras. Peggy, an Ohio native, is a nurse who has been serving on Roatan since June, 2001. She works in a clinic in her own home in Sandy Bay and shares donated medications and supplies with the hospital and other clinics on the Island. She is currently facilitating the construction of a new clinic in La Colonia Balfate.
TIP: If
you are traveling to Roatan; one thing that is always in need are small tubes of
a triple antibiotic and boxes of band aids. Discount stores like Sam's
Club and Costco have their own store brands which are much less expensive and
just as good as the name brands.

Valerie Nelson is the dedicated volunteer who runs Familias Saludables (Healthy Families). Familias Saludables helps reduce the mother to child transmission rate of AIDS. With proper care, nutrition and treatment, babies testing positive at birth have a 85% chance of testing negative at 6 months. Honduras has the highest AIDS rate in the Western Hemisphere. Roatan has one of the highest in Honduras PER CAPITA. The numbers may be even higher than that though as many islanders get tested on the mainland due to lack of confidentiality in the hospital.
TIP: If you are traveling to Roatan; one
thing that is always in need powdered baby formula. Discount stores
like Sam's Club and Costco have their own store brands which are about half
as expensive as the name brands and just as good as the name brands.

Littlest
Angels / Mud Angles Nancy Agnew began this program and needs help in so many areas. This program assists each child in the availability of an improved education. The schools lack many basic materials for teaching and learning. Many children have to quit school in the fourth grade so they can find work to help support their families. Most families cannot afford the costs of school uniforms, shoes and the needed supplies to attend school. Read rest of story
