HOW YOU CAN HELP

1.     Prayer is the first and most important step.  Pray about what involvement the LORD would have you take with Spartanburg Angels.  Then pray that our effort and involvement with the indigenous peoples of Roatan will be in keeping with GOD’s will for us and them.  (Mat 25:35-46)

2.     Consider being a director and taking an active part in the direction that Spartanburg Angels takes.  (Directors needed.)

3.     Your help in terms of monetary donations or donations of individual items is always welcome and most appreciated are donations of items in ‘case lots’ which make it easier for us to handle and ship to Roatan.  Powdered baby formula desperately needed.

4.     Take this to your own church or civic group to enlist their help.  Here is an example of an easy fund-raiser for church youth groups.

5.     Invite Donna and myself to speak to your group to tell about their need and how we became involved with missions in Roatan.

6.     Search for and provide us with leads to those who might be interested in going to Roatan on a ‘medical mission’, ‘construction mission’ or simply a mission to strengthen the people in their walk with the LORD.  Even teaching them about the LORD or guiding them to the LORD in a manner that they might be led to accept JESUS as their LORD and SAVIOR.

9.  Consider going on a short mission trip yourself.  Or volunteering for a longer term mission or even putting together a construction or medical team mission; we will help you with arrangements.  (Click here for information on our scheduled Easter 2008 mission trip to Roatan, Honduras.)

Dear Friends:
 

    Thank you for taking a look at our website and checking out the growing ministry of Spartanburg Angels.  I hope you have found the information you were seeking while at our website and also got a feel for the tremendous need in Roatan, Honduras.  I also hope you share with us the burden this organization feels for the people of that area and have been compelled to do something to help.  If so, first and foremost prayers are needed.  Please pray daily for this organization, its leaders, its supporters and the people of Roatan.  Obviously, financial resources are needed, but Spartanburg Angels has absolutely no doubt that God will provide the resources to meet the needs He expects this organization to meet.  In fact, we are fully confident that He has already provided the resources.  The only problem that we see is that we don't know yet who out there has the resources that God has provided for this organization to meet the needs of the people of Roatan.  Maybe you are feeling God leading you to play a part in this ministry by praying and/or making a contribution.  If so, rest assured that your prayers will be appreciated and any contribution will be treated as God's money and fully accounted for, but at the same time, we are not here to take away from the local church.  Please contribute to this ministry only as God directs you and only after you have fulfilled the obligations God has given you to His local body.   We at Spartanburg Angels are fully trusting God to provide and we only want the contributions that He has already set aside for this ministry.  God bless you and thank you for considering this ministry.
